Lil Wayne finally appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live last night, after missing past dates due to illness. Tunechi spoke on a lot of things, including his health, his love for skateboarding and, of course, music. When the subject of retirement came up, Weezy revealed, “I want to retire after Tha Carter 5, which I hope will be my last album.”

But don’t jump for joy or mourn Weezy’s career just yet because the “No Worries” rapper also revealed that his next album isn’t The Carter 5. “My next album isn’t Tha Carter 5 because I think I have to work on other albums as well. Like, with my pop Birdman, things like that. But, after Tha Carter 5, I hope I can retire” revealed Wayne.

And what will a post-retirement Wayne be doing once he’s done with music? The New Orleans rapper said he plans on spending quality time with his four kids. Tunechi luh the kids!
