I honestly thought more folks were familiar with Cosmo’s mixes, but I’m learning that’s not 100% fact. If you’re a “golden era” cat, these themed compilations are definitely good to get you thru a day, rush hour traffic or to cue up when you’re gettin’ dressed to go do the do with your folks.

The draw is not the technical beauty of these, because true enough it isn’t scratch-heavy or anything of that nature. It’s the musical knowledge displayed & the ease with which he can go from a Jay-z track to JT Money (when you hear it, you’ll remember it) and then glide into “25 Lighters” with none of the transitions sounding forced. It will definitely will give you that “Aww shit, that was my joint” face, as selected tracks go from coast to coast & every locale in between.
